I am excited and thrilled to be working with your students during the 2017-2018 school year.
Teaching is a passion of mine and I fully enjoying watching students grow to their fullest potential.
I moved to Charlotte from Richmond, Virginia where I received a Master’s Degree in Social Work Policy and worked for a state legislator for five years. During that time, I had the opportunity to work with schools and provide tours to students when they arrived at the general assembly. This work led to my career transition into the teaching profession. I’ve taught in Charlotte as a 2nd grade classroom teacher for four years.
This is my second year as an ESL teacher at Winterfield.
I enjoy traveling, knitting, crafting, square dancing, documentaries, trying new things and learning about new people.
